Members to vote on Code of Conduct for Journalists
We could soon see increased coverage of the Manx parliament if Tynwald gives the green light.
Chairman of the Standards Select Committee Juan Watterson will seek approval for a Code of Conduct for Journalists when the court sits in just over a week's time.
The move is being described as a way of providing more transparency in Island politics.
Mr Watterson believes it will allow people more access to any significant announcements.
