Save Camlork wants proposals to build on rural land dropped
A group campaigning against plans to build on rural land hopes the inquiry into the Area Plan for the East will reflect all the evidence presented.
Save Camlork is trying to protect fields in Braddan from being developed as part of the government's plans for the future of the east of the Island.
A pre-inquiry meeting took place in Douglas yesterday, confirming evidence must be submitted by 16 August ahead of a three to four week inquiry starting in September.
John Kermode from Save Camlork was among those in attendance, and is optimistic despite the deadline:
