Charity wants blood sugar sensors to be available on prescription
A drive's been launched to get an 'life changing' technology made available on prescription to diabetic children in the Island.
Backed by the Manx Diabetic Group, the parent-led Monitors4Kids campaign aims to increase access to blood sugar level monitors.
The devices act as an alternative to finger-prick testing for the youngsters, which has to be carried out up to 15 times a day.
