Tatchell lends support to first Manx festival
A prominent human rights campaigner has thanked Isle of Pride for efforts to secure 'universal LGBT+ acceptance'.
Peter Tatchell says he's proud to support the first festival and to celebrate the 'huge positive contribution' that LGBT+ people make to the Island.
The event is taking place at the Villa Marina today (Saturday, 12 June) and will celebrate, support and recognise the community and its allies.
Mr Tatchell says 'queer freedom is an unstoppable global trend' and together people can make 'homophobia, biphobia and transphobia history'.
