Petitioner says government broke a promise eight years ago
Campaigners have petitioned Tynwald asking it to force the government to up its international aid contributions.
On Tynwald Hill yesterday, Louise Whitelegg presented a petition for redress of grievance over the amount of money government donates each year.
She says a promise made eight years ago about Manx contributions has been broken and she’d like the court to force ministers to reconsider the issue.
