Concerns for Fenella beach car park
Commissioners in Peel says a height barrier it's to install at Fenella beach car park, will stop it becoming an unofficial TT campsite.
The authority says the restriction will prevent large camper vans parking there for extended periods during motorsport festivals.
Commissioners agreed the move at a board meeting earlier this month, after hearing complaints about litter, toilet waste and lack of parking space.
The 6'6" restriction will apply for the TT fortnight, and be removed afterwards.
It's thought camper van owners are using the car park to avoid overnight charges at official campsites, despite a lack of hygiene facilities.
