Mike Smith to cycle from London to Paris in July
A 60 year old Laxey man who survived throat cancer in 2014 is getting on his bike to raise funds for local cancer charities this summer.
Mike Smith will be part of a team of around thirty charity fundraisers cycling 317 miles from London to Paris over five days from the 18th of July.
Mike, who works for Robinsons, doesn't own a car but cycles everywhere. He says his daily commute from Laxey to Cooil Road, Douglas is good preparation for his epic ride to Paris.
And if you'd like to contribute to Mike's charity effort you can do so via the online Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association JustGiving page.
