Company director to contest election
A company director has announced he is standing in the Ayre and Michael constituency in next month's House of Keys general election.
Manx-born Alan Kermode, 53, lives in Lezayre.
He says, if elected, his priorities on a national level would be prudent management, coupled with the encouragement of enterprise.
Mr Kermode adds government needs to send a clear message it's open for business and enterprise, not least through a reformed planning process.
