Kristina Moore is Channel Island's first female leader
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan has sent a message of congratulations to the new Chief Minister of Jersey.
Kristina Moore has become the first female to be elected to the role in the Channel Island.
In a Twitter message Mr Cannan says he 'looks forward to meeting and continuing to build on the close relationship between our Island nations'.
