Six members voted against annual report
The chief minister has been defending his Economic Strategy, after facing a "mini rebellion" while presenting its annual report in Tynwald.
It comes after the announcement that government plans to close the Southern Swimming Pool at the end of the financial year.
The debate on the strategy lasted over an hour and a half, with six MHKs voting against it, including all four southern members.
But Alfred Cannan says the Island's politicians need to look at the bigger picture:

Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Suspended sentence for 56-year-old in cannabis supply case
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
