Treasury minister's first one in just under a fortnight
The Treasury minister has refused to be drawn on the nature of his first Manx budget, which will be delivered in just under a fortnight's time.
Whilst a backbencher, Michael MHK Alfred Cannan called for the budget to be priority-based, so funds could be allocated where they were most needed.
Live on Mandate on Wednesday morning, he was asked by Tim Glover if that was the approach he would be taking, now he was in control of the purse strings:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
