Tributes continue after Westminster horror
The Mayor and Mayoress of Douglas have joined the local voices paying tribute to all those involved in yesterday's Westminster attack.
As a former officer of the Metropolitan Police herself, Mayoress Skinner sent sympathies to the family of PC Keith Palmer - who was stabbed to death whilst on patrol yesterday afternoon.
She said the death of a public servant, 'whose job it was to protect others', was a particular heartbreak.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has been flying flags at half mast outside its Headquarters today, in a show of solidarity.
The Council of Ministers also held a moment of silence before their usual weekly proceedings this morning.
