CRHS students land unique experience
The Excalibur Almaz space capsule will be officially unveiled at Castle Rushen High School this evening (11 Oct).
The spacecraft was craned in to the school at the weekend and teachers are hoping it will fire enthusiasm for new learning opportunties for among their students and others in local primary schools.
The capsule was last displayed in the Isle of Man seven years ago at King William's College, and has just returned from a display in Israel
Along with the capsule, other hands-on space-related items include an official space suit. Excalibur Almaz boss Art Dula will also be present at the school to answer questions on the company's space exploration plans.
The unveiling, in front of an invited audience, takes place at 6.30pm
