Transport official counters congestion criticism
Car drivers 'need to be more patient, or get on the bus'.
The view of Transport Projects Manager Ian Longworth, in response to dissatisfaction with the horse trams and congestion on Douglas promenade.
Mr Longworth, a former director of public transport, has also reinforced the Department of Infrastructure's recent message that the trams don't hold up traffic on the prom.
He claims the cars are the problem:
