Crash closes road
A section of the Mountain Road is now clear after a car flipped onto its roof.
The area around the Gooseneck was closed for almost two hours while emergency services attended.
One vehicle, a white-coloured hatchback, left the road and ended up in the ditch below.
The collision threatened to further delay the start of this afternoon's Festival of Motorcycling qualifying session.
Motorists using the rest of the Mountain Road are being urged to drive to the conditions, as visibility is low up there.
