Driver suffers shock and shoulder injury
Fire crews from Peel station and the duty officer from Douglas dealt with a single-vehicle crash on the Poortown Road, Peel, at around 10.45 this morning.
Police had managed to help get the driver, a woman, out.
She had been trapped in the silver Ford Ka, which was on its roof.
Fire crews gave first aid to the driver, who was suffering from shock and a minor shoulder injury.
The car was made safe and recovered shortly after.
Crews from Peel station remained at the scene for an hour.
