
A new Facebook page trying to mitigate against the worst effects of the TT bus strike has garnered more than 800 likes since being set up yesterday.
The page, which avoids any political comment on the rights and wrongs of the dispute, aims to pair-up people needing transport with those who have spare seats in their cars.
It was set up by Sharon Kissack of recruitment firm Ambitions after she noticed how many people would struggle to find ways to get to work during the 12-day walkout by bus drivers.
She says she’s hoping it’ll foster a community spirit among those affected:
