Parking suspended but residents given permits
Castle Drive on Douglas promenade is due to be closed tomorrow (27 Jan) for six weeks.
It's as work on the junction with Castle Mona Terrace is being done by the Department of Infrastructure.
Affected traffic will be directed off the promenade via Empress Drive, and back on to the highway via Mona Drive.
Parking has been suspended in these areas, though residents have been issued permits.
It's to allow emergency service vehicles to access the area and to support works at the Castle Mona Hotel.
