Mystery bidder steps in
A planned auction for the Castle Mona Hotel has been cancelled.
The public sale, which was set to take place on Monday, has been suspended by agents Lambert Smith Hampton.
It's after an anonymous offer - reported to be in excess of one and a quarter million pounds - was made for the historic 98 bedroom hotel.
Talks are ongoing, while it's understood no deal has been finalised.
Failure to secure the agreement may result in the auction being rescheduled.
