Local MHK admits progress has been slow
A Castletown resident with a visual impairment claims the regeneration of the town square is a 'nightmare' to navigate.
Richard Adams says the market place is like an obstacle course for the blind.
He says he has contacted the commissioners and local MHKs about highlighting street furniture:-
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse says the changes being recommended are coming but it has been a frustratingly slow process.
He believes that's because it's an historic area.
Mr Moorhouse is also taking up the matter of the flood defences around the inner harbour where access to the Apostles Bridge isn't wide enough for wheelchairs or a child buggy:-
