He was unanimously voted in on Tuesday evening
Jamie Horton has been re-elected as the chair of Castletown Town Commissioners.
He will serve for another year as leader of the town authority alongside the new vice chair, Beth Cannan.
One other board member, Jerry Ludford-Brooks, put himself forward for the position, however he did not attend Tuesday evening's meeting and wasn't able to contest.
Mr Horton said he is 'proud' to be the chair for the next year:
