Manx Radio speaks to residents and businesses about the change
Plans made by the DOI and Bus Vannin to close Castle Street in Castletown to traffic were met with rejection by MHKs and commissioners.
The scheme has since been altered to instead make the street one way.
Manx Radio spoke to local residents and received mixed opinions but the main concern was residents and businesses wanted to be consulted.
However, Chair of Castletown Commissioners Jamie Horton believes all is well:
Castletown residents and business owners are questioning the direction of the one-way system currently operating in the town.
Traffic, including buses, can currently only head north along Castle Street while renovation works take place nearby.
