Commissioners set up al-fresco World Cup final viewing location
Castletown has been praised for its efforts in bringing the community together for the Women’s World Cup Final yesterday (20 August).
The commissioners staged the event for free in the square working alongside ELS to set up a big screen for football fans.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse said it had showcased the town at its best adding: “Castletown really is the Island’s premier can-do location.”
The venture won praise from many people on social media who described it as ‘brilliant’.
