Twenty-five-year-old avoids custodial sentence
A Castletown woman's been spared a jail term after stealing more than £1,000 worth of make-up from a high-street retailer.
Twenty-five-year-old Kayleigh Joanne Jones admitted three counts of theft when she went before magistrates on Tuesday.
The charges relate to three separate dates in July when Jones took a combined total of 35 items from Boots totalling £1,188.60.
All items were recovered.
She's been ordered to carry out 70 hours community service for each offence to run concurrently - as well as pay £125 in costs.
