Event gets underway on 19 September
Mark Cavendish is included in the GB squad heading to Belgium this month for Cycling's Road World Championships.
The Manx Missile is currently taking part in the Tour of Britain.
The Championships, in Flanders, start on 19 September.
The winner of the elite section is entitled to wear the so called rainbow jersey for twelve months.
It is currently held by Deceunink Quickstep leader, Julian Alaphillipe.
Cavendish last won the title ten years ago.
