First national day for infamous dish
Today is national Chips, Cheese and Gravy Day (29 January).
The first ever annual celebration of the Isle of Man's 'other' national dish has been declared by online magazine Gef the Mongoose.
A number of chippies Island-wide are offering discounts on the unconventional combination for today only.
Superfans will also be pitting their guts against each other in a 'Mann vs Food' eating competition at Fryers Fish & Chip Shop in Onchan this evening (6.30pm).
