Dr Penny Woods invited by Breathe Easy Isle of Man
The British Lung Foundation (BLF) boss will visit the Island this month to speak to a local support group.
Breathe Easy Isle of Man invited Dr Penny Woods to it's fith anniversary event at Union Mills Methodist Chapel on the 12 April.
The group offers emotional support and advice for those with all types of breathing problems.
It's also contributed research to the BLF, and has donated two travel oxygen concerntrators for patients travelling from Nobles Hospital.
Organiser Bill Osland is hoping Dr Wood's visit raises the profile of the group - he says, for many members, it's a lifeline:
