There's a rare chance for those interested in the technical side of theatre work to find out more next weekend (25th-27th)
The Manx Amateur Drama Federation, with backing from the Isle of Man Arts Council, is bringing over professional tutors from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association or NODA to run a weekend course at the Gaiety.
It will cover sound, lighting and stage management and of the 30 places available, 10 are specifically for students aged 16 and over.
Chairman of MADF, Stephanie Gray, says it's a unique opportunity for anyone who enjoys amateur dramatics
The course starts on Friday evening (25th) with a theatre tour, then gets underway proper at 10am on Satuday morning. Full details on the website www.madf.im
