There’s chance to find out about a charity trek up a Moroccan mountain this evening (THURS).
The Children’s Centre organises an annual fundraising trip, and this year they’re heading up Mount Toubkal between 14 and 20 October.
Participants will climb over 13,000 feet to the mountain peak, from where they’ll be able to take in panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains.
The trip costs £175 to register per person, and you must pledge to raise a further £750.
Tonight’s event is at 6pm at the charity's main offices on Woodbourne Road in Douglas.
