Ella Olesen Scholarship opens
A female final year degree student has the chance to study in the United States from August 2018.
Applications are open for the Ella Oleson Scholarship which is run by the Department of Education.
The chosen person will attend the University of Idaho for the next academic year.
Ella Olesen was a registrar at Idaho.
Her mother was from Ballaugh and Ella wanted to create a lasting legacy which was first established in 1971.
Details of the application process are on the government website.
The closure date is Monday 4th December and interviews will take place on Wednesday 20th December.
