Former roads policing head reacts to road safety strategy
The former head of the Island's Roads Policing Unit believes change is necessary to implement the Government's road safety strategy.
The initiative is aiming to cut the number of fatalities and serious injuries on Manx roads.
Derek Flint, who is now President of the Isle of Man Institute of Advanced Motorists, believes it's a good aspiration.
Speaking on today's Talking Heads, he stressed that a culture change is required to make this a reality:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
