Ramsey shopping street to remain open between Sunday and Wednesday
Changes to the daily closure of Parliament Street in Ramsey come into force from today.
The town's main shopping street was closed to vehicles during peak retail hours last week in order to allow social distancing for pedestrians.
However, Ramsey Town Commissioners has now made some alterations, meaning the street will stay open to traffic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.
Parliament Street will still close from its junction with Christian Street between 11am and 3pm from Thursday and Saturday.
The local authority says the changes have been made as a result of feedback.
