Route change on Monday as Castle Street goes one-way
Update 1:40pm: Isle of Man Transport has reversed the plans, and the bus service will trial looping the square instead.
Planned changes to Castletown's bus routes to accommodate Castle Street going one-way for a year have been described as 'dangerous and costly'.
From 9:15am tomorrow morning, people travelling on the southbound buses into the town centre will have to transfer to another service at School Hill.
Castletown Commissioners says there remains an 'obvious solution which is for the southbound service to serve the town using northbound stops and turn left along the bypass'.
