
There was a degree of inevitability that free prescriptions and dental care for the over 60s could no longer be sustained.
So says, the chief executive of an Island charity after a change in the law.
Until Saturday, over 60s had been eligible for free prescriptions and dental care but the changes mean only those in full-time retirement if state pensionable age now qualify.
