Counter service limited to Key Meter customers
Manx Utilities has made changes to its customer support services ahead of lockdown.
From now, the body's headquarters will only be accessible to Key Meter Prepay Customers between 8:30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, and 8:30-4:30 on Fridays.
Counter support for all other customers has now been stopped.
During this time the emergency credit limit for Key Meter Prepay Customers has been raised from £6 to £30.
The standing charge and any debt repayment will be suspended during the emergency credit period but will be collected on the next top-up.
Meanwhile, water sampling in properties, and the reading of electricity and water meters will stop.
Vulnerable customers, especially those with medical needs or concerns about essential supplies can still access 24 hour emergency support by calling 687687.
