It comes as pupils return to the classroom following half term
Increases to the cost of school meals and changes to school bus passes come into force from today as students return from the half term break.
In primary schools, lunch is going up from £2.40 to £2.55 due to the increasing cost of producing the meals.
Children who receive free school meals will not be affected.
Meanwhile, those who use the SCH1 and SCH2 bus pass to travel home will only be able to use the passes until 5pm instead of 6pm.
It comes following changes to the school day, which Bus Vannin says means most pupils are now off site by 4.15pm.
