Organisers blame Covid uncertainty for changes
The commemoration of Illiam Dhone, held annually at Hango Hill, won't take place in the usual manner this year.
A simple wreath laying will be held on 2 January, with no speakers or subsequent music session organised in a bid to reduce crowds.
It's also being head at Malew Church.
Both Mec Vannin and the Celtic League Mannin Branch blame uncertainty over Covid for the changes, which were 'felt necessary for public safety'.
