Those expecting will now have to do it online
The way pregnant women are referred for antenatal care is changing from the New Year.
Instead of booking a GP appointment when finding out they're expecting, they'll instead need to self-refer themselves online.
It's hoped it'll free up more than 600 GP and community midwife appointments each year.
The new system comes into effect from Tuesday 2 January.
