Equipment proves worth in Ramsey
A speedy response from the emergency services, and lifesaving equipment from a local charity, is being thanked for helping a person who fell ill in Ramsey.
Police officers were called to the scene of a suspected heart attack - arriving just two minutes after the alarm was raised.
A portable defibrilator, donated to first responders by the Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital, was used to resuscitate the victim.
The trust regularly furnishes public organisations with medical equipment and training.
