Intends to launch 'further independent assessment'
The chief minister says a further independent assessment could be undertaken into the unfair dismissal of the Island's former medical director.
Alfred Cannan says government has been taking action over the past 12 months 'to deliver meaningful changes' following an employment tribunal looking at the departure of Doctor Rosalind Ranson.
She'll receive almost £3.2m in compensation after being unfairly dismissed from the Department of Health and Social Care for whistleblowing.
Mr Cannan has been addressing the House of Keys this morning
