
Changes which will aim to bring about an end to the 'silo' mentality of government departments was one of the key announcements made by the chief minister in Tynwald.
Allan Bell presented his annual progress and priorities statement to the court.
He revealed plans to review government's budget-setting process in a bid to end departmental divisions.
There is set to be a shake up the Council of Ministers and the Chief Secretary's Office, and Mr Bell also said he backed a plan to merge the Manx Electricity Authority and the Water and Sewerage Authority.
