
Chief Minister Allan Bell says a jump in inflation might seem alarming – but he’s not too worried about spikes in the rate.
Last week, the government revealed the Consumer Prices Index jumped 0.4 per cent to 3.2 per cent.
But Mr Bell says occasional sharp rises generally balance out over the long term.
