'Connectivity' to be key theme of this month's government conference
The chief minister says he is determined for the Steam Packet Company to continue to operate without a subvention.
It's ahead of discussions in the Government Conference later this month on connectivity to and from the Island.
The ferry operator is owned by the Isle of Man Government and last year took steps to adjust its pricing - something welcomed by The Treasury.

Alfred Cannan says providing taxpayer support in the form of a subsidy would mean other important areas missing out:
"I'd always like it to be cheaper but for where you're coming to it's value for money."
