The Chief Minister has snubbed comments from Mec Vannin about the Lieutenant Governor's title.
The Manx nationalist group held its annual general meeting last week and talked about new possible titles for the governor.
They also called for the UK to pay for his presence here, rather than the Manx taxpayer.
