Panel to discuss potential housing association at govt conference
The Chief Minister says he is waiting to hear from experts today about a possible housing association for the Isle of Man.
It's day two of the 2023 Isle of Man Government Conference - this afternoon there'll be a panel on housing associations and their role.
While in its early stages, the Department of Infrastructure is exploring the possibility, which is the preferred option of five in a recent report looking into the issue.
Alfred Cannan told Manx Radio he hopes to 'properly' engage with local authorities about the opportunities' that an association will bring:
