Quayle insists members were informed ahead of announcement
The Chief Minister insists Tynwald members were informed about changes to the coronavirus measures before it was announced to the public.
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson questioned the timing of yesterday's announcement that construction and gardening firms can return to work on Friday, asking why it wasn't raised in Tynwald where it could be scrutinised.
In response to an urgent question at today's House of Keys sitting, Howard Quayle confirmed all Tynwald members were shown the details at a presentation once the plans had been put in place last Thursday.
The move will also allow Manx residents to spend more time outside their homes and see some recycling facilities re-opening.
