Follows urgent question tabled today
The chief minister has questioned why MHKs were asked again today to discuss the Isle of Man's borders.
Douglas South's Claire Christian was granted permission to ask an urgent question at this morning's sitting of the House of Keys (22 June).
She wanted to know if border levels were under review due to the increasing levels of Covid in the UK.
Howard Quayle said he believed the subject had already been debated and voted on in Tynwald – something which brought an intervention from speaker Juan Watterson:

Immigration changes designed to stop exploitation by 'bad eggs'
Plantation wood, telegraph poles and Satnav to be discussed in the House of Keys
Contingency budget for horse tram tracks 'significantly increased'
MHK to seek re-election in Arbory, Castletown and Malew
