Government ministers took to the road to visit the North, South, East and West
The chief minister has issued a statement thanking Isle of Man residents who turned out to one of the Council of Ministers roadshows.
'Listening to You' events took place throughout the past week at various locations across the Island which allowed the public to put questions directly to decision-makers at the top of government.
Throughout the events, housing, healthcare, population rebalancing and support for struggling industries became the main talking points.
Alfred Cannan says there is ‘much to digest’ and that his Council of Ministers are ‘committed’ to ensuring the concerns and suggestions raised are given due consideration over the coming days, weeks and months ahead.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to our Roadshows. It been hard graft - but I hope that we are all a bit wiser. I recognize it’s a tough economic climate at the moment, that we won’t agree on everything, but we do all want our precious Island to succeed 🇮🇲. Thank you.
