Chief Minister Allan Bell says he’ll meet Flybe bosses later this week after their announcement the company’s Isle of Man base will close.
In Tynwald this morning, he faced a question from North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson about the government’s response to the potential loss of 49 jobs.
Mr Bell said he’d be meeting senior managers to discuss the closure – and the future of the patient transfer service the airline runs.
He told the court until he’d met the company, it was still too early to form a response to its plans:
