Sir David Amess was a 'friend of the Island'
The Isle of Man's chief minister has paid tribute to an MP who was murdered on Friday.
Alfred Cannan has described Sir David Amess as a 'friend of the Island'.
The Conservative MP had previously visited Manx shores and had been involved in the Isle of Man All Party Parliamentary Group.
Mr Cannan says everyone is 'shocked and deeply saddened' by his death which happened during a constituency surgery in Essex.
